Lenses made from PLEXIGLAS® and PLEXIMID®

PLEXIGLAS® is the perfect material for interplay with light, as the signal effect relies not only on the light source itself but also on the light guides, lens, and light covers.

The TIR lens “Lens LFO” developed by Bartenbach and produced by kdg opticomp is almost entirely concealed when installed in ceiling elements and enables glare-free light. Depending on the heat resistance required, the Lens LFO can be made from PLEXIGLAS® or PLEXIMID® with increased heat deflection temperature. The transparency of the materials enables outstanding light transmittance. Good flow characteristics also provide highly accurate mold surface reproduction in injection molding.
