The visual impression of the Union Jack is created by combining different components made from PLEXIGLAS® molding compounds, Röhm’s brand-name polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), which has long been tried-and-tested in taillights. Each taillight component has a different function and requires different materials that meet the specific requirements for heat deflection temperature, appearance, color, and performance in injection molding.
OPEL Crossland
HELLA’s curved taillights characterize the sporty yet elegant design of Opel’s Crossland X. An intensive shade of red with homogeneous light distribution is provided by a tailored PLEXIGLAS® molding compound from Röhm.
