Noise barrier wall

Noise barriers along busy traffic routes reduce the noise level and thus the burden on residents. This is because the ever-increasing noise from roads and railways puts a strain on our health in the long term. Noise barriers made of PMMA based on MERACRYL® MMA can prevent this and demonstrate their strengths not only in terms of appearance, but also in terms of acoustics. These materials are also used as effective wind protection on bridges.

The PLEXIGLAS® Soundstop GS CC exhibit on display here, which was kindly provided to us by POLYVANTIS, offers integrated protection thanks to embedded polyamide threads. In the event of breakage, these threads hold the splinters in place and prevent them from falling.
